• CONFIDENTIALITY

We understand the importance of product launch and business plans being kept confidential. We operate completely on a confidential level with clients and suppliers. We circulate our own NDA contracts with both clients and suppliers at the early stages of product sourcing projects. Alternatively we are happy to work with our clients own confidentiality agreements if required and pass on the same terms to our suppliers.

• UNETHICAL TRADING

It is well known that the Far East has a history of child labor, exploitation of underage workers and poor working conditions. In fact, Far East countries like China have some of the most sophisticated and well run facilities in the world but this is no excuse to become complacent.

Core Solutions screen all factories we wish to do business with and once orders are close to being finalized we conduct full day factory audits where inspectors review all elements a manufacturer’s facilities and ensures that they conduct all business ethically.

• BRIBERY ACT 2010

It is a criminal offence for any UK based organization to conduct bribery or not prevent bribery which takes place within the company or with its suppliers or customers.

In the event that we suspect or prove that bribery has taken place within business activities in progress with any given supplier or client, we will cease all activities, terminate all contracts and seek compensation for any financial losses which may occur as a result.

• EVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Our business is structured to be as efficient as possible and with todays’ technology our business has next to no impact on the environment. However, we do have input into a lot of clients products and container upon container of goods which may have an impact.

We aim to identify any environmental issues surrounding our clients products and potential ways to reduce these impacts. After all, some changes may even result in cost price savings. For example, smaller packaging uses less material (less material cost to client) and less fuel and resources to deliver from manufacturer through to the end customer (more products per container and truck also save cost for the client).

• BS8538:2011

BS8538:2011 was developed to prevent service providing companies from making financial gain out of individuals such as inventors wishing to pursue dreams which are clearly not going to become reality.

As a provider of product design services we are open with clients about the commercial viability of product ideas so to manage expectations and not continue to work on expensive projects in the knowledge that the client is unlikely to ever see a return on their investment.
