Choosing a supplier based on price alone is the one of the biggest mistakes any company can make. Low prices are typically coupled with inadequate product quality, poor communication, illegal working conditions for workers, corruption and the possibility of never seeing the product which was originally sought after. In the best case scenario a very cheap price normally concludes with price increases before final shipment or subsequent orders. Eventually the sourcing process must start all over again.

Small scale manufactures may be extremely supportive and flexible but could lack financial stability, the capacity to handle large orders and the resources required to handle large projects.
