Even simple projects require strict project management and care and attention to prevent errors. We have all heard the famous saying about the use of assumption. They key to project management when sourcing from the Far East is planning and communication. Manufacturers in the Far East will not chase for details such as artwork, packaging requirements etc. If the product is off-the-shelf, they will manufacture it according to their own specifications. For this reason it is important to have regular communication between clients and suppliers.
